As China's ecological and environmental protection policies become more stringent, governments at all levels in my country are actively promoting the resource utilization, reduction and zero discharge of industrial waste salt and high-salt wastewater. As we all know, with the acceleration of industrialization, the amount of industrial waste salt and high-salt wastewater in my country is increasing. my country produces more than 300 million cubic meters of high-salt wastewater each year, and the by-product of industrial high-salt hazardous waste exceeds 10 million tons. These industrial waste salts mainly come from pesticides, medicines, fine chemicals, petrochemicals, coal chemicals, dyes and other industries. The waste salts contain a variety of organic pollutants, heavy metals, nitrogen, phosphorus and other toxic and harmful substances, most of which have not been properly disposed of, bringing great pressure to the ecological environment. The resource utilization and disposal of waste salts has become a "bottleneck" and "pain point" that restricts the development of the chemical industry, especially petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals and other industries.

In order to further implement the new ideas and requirements of the relevant national ecological and environmental departments in the field of zero-discharge resource utilization of high-salt wastewater and industrial waste salt pollution prevention and control, the Industrial Environmental Protection Network and authoritative organizations decided to hold the "2024 Industrial Waste Salt and High-salt Wastewater Comprehensive Utilization Exchange Conference" to provide key industries, park management agencies, engineering design units, scientific research institutes, pollution control projects and operating companies with the latest industrial waste salt, high-salt wastewater treatment, resource utilization and zero-discharge technology and other scientific and technological achievements, and establish a multi-dimensional platform for information sharing, supply and demand communication, technical exchange, and industry-university-research docking. At that time, relevant leaders and relevant experts in this field will be invited to the meeting to give speeches, answer questions and communicate.
