From July 18th to 20th, accompanied by the heat of midsummer and the freshness of the sea breeze, all JMFILTEC employees went to Pingtan Island to start a three-day team-building trip. This is not only a youthful exploration of encountering mountains and seas, but also a team practice that unites people - from the tacit understanding of collaborative net pulling to the laughter of bonfire carnival, from the warmth of handmade food to the touching of chasing waves together, it makes the team closer and more tacit.
DAY1: Using the sea as a medium, we build a tacit understanding
Crossing the majestic Pingtan Cross-sea Bridge, all members went to the coastal fishing village for the first stop. In the "pull net fishing" stage, everyone worked together: some people held the rope head steady, and some coordinated the force. When the net was full of fish and shrimp, the cheers overwhelmed the sound of the waves - the tacit understanding of the team began to grow from the moment of joint efforts.
In the evening, Longfengtou Beach became a place of joy. After letting go of the tension of work, everyone released their energy on the white sand beach. When the sun set, everyone listened to the sea side by side, and the distance between them was quietly shortened in the sea breeze.
DAY2: Cultural empathy, deepening connections
In the early morning on Houyan Island, all the staff took a group photo in front of the stone tablet with the words "The closest point of the motherland to Taiwan". The common feelings of home and country brought their hearts closer.
In the Pingtan traditional food making experience, they kneaded "Good Luck" and wrapped "Forever and Ever", and the kitchen became a place of joy with teasing and laughter interweaving. The snacks made by hand were especially sweet - the warmest image of the team was hidden in the atmosphere of fireworks.
In the Austronesian Museum, the story of the ancestors’ collaboration in shipbuilding and sailing allows everyone to understand that “those who work together will prevail”; under the windmills of the Changjiangao Wind Power Station, everyone feels the wisdom of “each showing their strengths and working together”.
The climax was the bonfire party at night. We danced around the dancing flames, sang out of tune but had a lot of fun, and when the fireworks bloomed in the night sky and everyone cheered, there was no need to say anything, as we already understood each other's feelings.
DAY3: Together we travel and return with a full load
In the ancient city of Haitan, everyone walked through the streets with Min Yue style, studying the architectural details or selecting souvenirs, and became more familiar with each other during the relaxed chat.
In front of the stone houses in Beigang Village, everyone looked at the staggered and interlocking stone walls. Each piece of those dark green stone walls had its own shape, but they were tightly interlocked together to resist the sea breeze and waves, just like our team: harmony but difference makes us indestructible.
On the way back, the laughter in the car did not diminish. This trip to Pingtan is both the end and the beginning. With this cohesive force, we will continue to sail side by side in the mountains and seas of work with more tacit cooperation and firmer faith!
